The following programs were developed to enrich the lives of the Laird Norton families.

Created to help young family members gain valuable work experience, the
Intern Program develops skills through hands-on experience.

The Laird Norton family encourages the life-long pursuit of knowledge. This program offers financial assistance to family members seeking to further their personal and career development.

The Associate Opportunity Fund assists family members engaged in entrepreneurial pursuits. The fund also provides small business education and counsel.

This program contributes to the intellectual resources of the Laird Norton family by offering direct exposure and access to the process of business decision-making. Associate Directors serve a two-year term, in an observational capacity, on the board of Laird Norton Company or one of its subsidiaries. The family foundations also offer Associate Director positions.
