Celebrating Spirit and Enterprise

The LNC Family Summit is a significant four-day event held every June. Family members are encouraged to attend all meetings and events at the Summit, in addition to the Annual Members’ Meeting and Business Overview.

The Family Summit offers a variety of activities including:

Laird Norton University

Family members volunteer to share professional skills, personal interests, or hobbies in small group presentations.

Family Forum

This is a facilitated, informal gathering in which family members are encouraged to express views on, or concerns about, any family or business topic.

Community Service Project

This half-day service project allows family members to give back to the community where the Summit is being held.

Youth Programs

This professionally staffed camp offers a curriculum of activities and field trips for infants, children, and teens. The program helps the next generation of Laird Norton family members learn about the family’s rich history, and begin developing bonds and friendships that last throughout their lives. During the past decade, the sixth generation received focused support from both the family and LNC. As a result, they are now eagerly making their presence felt and their voice heard within the company.

Family Olympics

Special games focused on fun and interaction for family members from age 8 to 80.

Financial Academy for Teens

In-depth reports about Laird Norton Company’s subsidiaries and the company’s future plans are geared to young adults. (Mandatory for ages 14-20)
