The following programs were developed to enrich the lives of the Laird Norton family.

Associate Education Assistance Program

The Laird Norton family encourages the life-long pursuit of knowledge. This program offers financial assistance to family members seeking to further their personal and career development.

LNC Associate Director Program

This program contributes to the intellectual resources of the Laird Norton family by offering direct exposure and access to the process of business decision-making. Associate Directors serve a two-year term, in an observational capacity, on the board of Laird Norton Company or one of its subsidiaries. The family foundations also offer Associate Director positions.

Next Generation Leadership

This annual weekend retreat offers the younger generations an opportunity to hone their leadership skills, learn more about the business, and spend time with their cousins and family leaders. This dynamic learning environment is geared towards helping family members grow, learn, contribute, and feel more prepared to participate in Laird Norton Company.
