The Laird Norton Company believes in the principle of supporting the communities in which we live and work. To implement this, each year LNC contributes to a variety of causes, emphasizing education, healthcare, disaster relief, and basic services for those in need. In addition to corporate donations, LNC has a robust employee-matching donation program, so that employees can also target charities of their choice.

In addition, donations of money and labor are made to Habitat for Humanity construction projects. The winter holidays are also a time of more targeted giving, as Laird Norton Company adopts a family, and makes donations of money, food, and staff labor to a local food bank.
